Brothers Jakov and Mislav Petras were participants in the student strike in 1971.
After the collapse of the “Croatian Spring”, Jakov fled overseas, Mislav was imprisoned, and the girl Sunčana, with whom both brothers were in love, died shortly after under unexplained circumstances.
In May 1990, Jakov Petras returns to Zagreb and begins an investigation into Sunčana’s death.
